RMAN backup to tape and blksize 2004-07-07 - By David
Can someone please shed some light on how to pass the blksize parameter to
rman on the channel allocation?
I have read a couple of white papers, checked docs and did a glance on
Metalink, but I am having little luck.
DB is 8172 on Solaris 7
Here is what I 'm getting:
RMAN > run
2 > {
3 > allocate channel a1 type 'SBT_TAPE ' parms= "blksize=1048576 ";
4 > }
RMAN-03022: compiling command: allocate

Thanks
